Getting Started
Connect to your first database, open a table and run a query in a couple of minutes.
Create a connection
When Mantidb starts, it opens the welcome window with your saved connections. You can open it again at any time with ⌘N (File ▸ Connections…).
- Click Create Connection (or + ▸ New Connection…).
- Pick a Driver — PostgreSQL, MySQL / MariaDB, SQLite, SQL Server, Redis or MongoDB.
- Fill in Host, Port, User, Password and Database. For SQLite, choose the database file instead.
- Choose a Tag, such as Development or Production. The tag sets the connection's color and its default safe mode.
- Click Connect, or Save to keep it for later.
Already have a connection string? Copy it and press
⌘Vin the welcome window — Mantidb understandspostgres://,mysql://,sqlserver://,redis://,mongodb://andsqlite://URLs. See Connections.
